ND&P Recognized with Top Honor at SIAA Awards

Work for one-of-a-kind campaign receives highest Award along with numerous other awards

Work produced by Neathawk Dubuque and Packett (ND&P), for the Diocese of Richmond’s, "Behind the Collar - An Inside Look at Life as a Priest" campaign was acclaimed as Best of Show in the 6th annual Service Industry Advertising Awards (SIAA), a nationwide ad awards competition. The winning poster joins the innovative campaign’s new media and website offerings that also won Gold and Silver awards in their efforts to inform those considering the priesthood.

"We are thrilled that work we created for the Diocese was so highly commended with this award," said ND& P CEO Roger Neathawk. "This campaign is truly unique, a first for any Roman Catholic Diocese in the nation. That it could be so honored along with the work we have done for a myriad of our other clients clearly illustrates the strength and creativity of our team at ND&P."

ND&P won 20 awards; 12 Golds, four Silvers, one Bronze and four Merits for their entries. These awards represented a wide array of categories including websites, new media, newspaper and magazine ads, direct mail, billboards, and total advertising campaigns. The work recognized was for a number of ND&P’s clients: The Virginia State Police, The Jefferson Hotel, Washington Hospital Center, Bliley’s, VCU Health System, and Shore Health System, Cooke’s Food and the FD Group.

The Service Industry Advertising Awards was initiated in 2003 to recognize the advertising excellence of the service industry. More than 250 advertising agencies and 900 service institutions participated in the Sixth Annual SIAA Awards. A national panel of judges reviewed every entry for execution, creativity, quality, consumer appeal and overall break through advertising content.
