Trust Me - Episode 6 Early Returns

It's getting painful. This episode was the, "look ma, we're proving we're in Chicago" episode.
Aside from that it's important to note that while I realize they rely on a hyperbolic premise of a whacky ad agency, they leave little room for perspective and sympathy for a working weekend when during the week they are coming in midday, bringing in masseuses and working completely on freelance. Work-life balance is hard for everyone, but it shouldn't be hard for the people this episode gave us. It's not this series' fault the economy went south far enough that what should be amusingly "love to hate" becomes sickeningly reprehensible that they even still have jobs.
And a last note on the actual show/commercial interaction. The Bertolli radio idea that Conner pitches is the premise of an actual ad that I forgot to fast forward through. I would repeat it here, but it was painful enough hearing the bad idea twice. Did it seem like a good concept for a show of stereotypes that you are supposed to hate a little to come up with the actual television commercials you'll be served up? A bit self-loathing to think we'll find an affinity for those products, eh?
