    The Neat Hawk Award Winner for April

    The work was great. The videos, even better. But in the end, you just can’t compete with a big box full of candy and fake money. Despite tough competition from the VCU Children’s Medical Center billboard and the new Lectrus website, it was the AAF “Stimulus Package” invitation that took top prize.  

    Advertising works best when it taps into our most primal needs, and what’s more basic than man’s innate desire to eat chocolate and caramel-covered crisped rice and laugh at someone’s head comically Photoshopped onto a fake dollar bill? Mmmmm…crisped rice.   Congratulations, AAF team!
